We have always felt that the old adage "stick with what you know" is a golden rule.  Many people, especially physicians, know the healthcare industry and feel comfortable with its language but may be leary of investing there since it can be subject to market swings or regulatory issues.  Many people don't have time to follow the companies in the healthcare industry on a daily basis but have a feel for those that are good or bad.  We strive to allow partner investors to gain access to the potential profits available in the healthcare space without having to watch the market every day.  We hope to gather public information from physician advisors and partners to help our perspective on the industry and its trends.  Partners do not need to be physicians or even affiliated with the industry to be able to take advantage of the opportunities available with the Physicians Investment Fund because consumers of healthcare can also have opinions on the industry.  We manage the fund to attempt to take advantage of industry patterns that can lead to capital growth.  We look forward to discussing the investment strategy with you.
